Principal Industries has acquired GENLED Brands, the companies announced today.
GENLED Brands is comprised of Acolyte, which provides unmatched custom architectural lighting solutions for interior and exterior projects, and AgiLight, which offers premium innovative signage illumination solutions.
Principal Industries is a leading provider of electrical components and services in the commercial sign industry. The acquisition strengthens and diversifies Principal’s product portfolio in new and existing end markets while expanding its global footprint.
To ensure uninterrupted service for partners and clients of each business, GENLED Brands and Principal Industries will continue to operate separately until the companies can confidently bring the teams together. There will be no immediate changes to distribution or product lines.
