Kumon Math and Reading Centers use the “Kumon Method” to teach math and reading to young students. Developed by Japanese math teacher Toru Kumon to help his own son, since 1958 Kumon has grown into a network of afterschool programs that use short, incremental assignments to develop self-learning skills for children in 50 countries.
