The first new distillery to open in Manhattan since prohibition, Great Jones Distilling Co. started welcoming customers in late summer 2021. Great Jones Distilling Co. offers craft cocktails and their signature twist on classic drinks in its lux Tasting Room, sumptuous meals in its Grid restaurant, and informative tours of its on-site distillery. You can pick up Great Jones’ proprietary Four Grain Bourbon Whiskey and Straight Rye Whiskey as distillery exclusives in the well-appointed gift shop. Across all four stories, Groundswell Design Group and lighting designer Lighting Elysium brought to life the classic New York glamour of the Roaring 20s. To create the perfect setting for sipping high-end whiskey, Warm Dim RibbonLyte from Acolyte was specified in custom AC2 fixtures with round frosted lenses to illuminate the main tasting room bar, and Static White Series 2 RibbonLyte at a very warm 2700K was used in the stunning shop shelves.
