Acolyte is honored to have been included in a recent project that received an Illuminating Engineers Society (IES) Award. Lighting Designer Bernhard TME received the 2nd place Illumination Award from the Illuminating Engineers Society (IES) Little Rock Section for their Baptist Health Medical Center – Conway lobby and chapel lighting design. Our 4.4 RGBW RibbonLyte (at 4100K)  was chosen to create both functional and artistic lighting patterns that were creatively integrated into architectural elements. The hospital’s lighting is designed to promote patient comfort by creating a soothing environment to calm patient fears and ease tension. “The Acolyte LED RibbonLyte was used in ceiling and wall coves in both the lobby and chapel at Baptist Health in Conway, Arkansas,” said Bernhard TME Principal Haley Robson. “In the Chapel, I wanted to create a space that was calming and peaceful. Acolyte RibbonLyte was the perfect product to use behind the wood feature wall and ceiling to create a soft, dimmable glow. The product allowed me to illuminate the space without traditional lighting fixtures distracting from the aesthetics of the room. The project turned out 100 percent better than I had anticipated due to the even illumination from the Acolyte LED RibbonLyte. I look forward to future projects using this product.”
