Products: LED neon

LED neon from Acolyte provides an ethereal glow for the brilliant Barry Art Museum at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. The distinct structure serves as the southern gateway to the Old Dominion campus. The 24,000-sq-ft museum features a brick exterior and cast-concrete trim typical of other ODU buildings, but with a forward-looking design by Saunders + Crouse Architects. The signature element is the Barry’s 40 ft serpentine façade of channel glass. The wall is a fitting prelude to the large collection of glass sculpture on display inside. The translucent glass wall warms and brightens the lobby, balconies and corridors with diffused LED lights. We’re always happy to see museum-quality Acolyte LEDs on display!
