United Way Torch

When the United Way torch in Detroit was lit without gas for the first time, it was illuminated with RGB NeonLyte from Acolyte. The flame, atop a torch that stands almost 60 feet above downtown Detroit, was wrapped with our LEDs before the United Way kicked off their 2015-16 Community Giving Campaign at dawn on Sept. 21, 2015. The ceremony was attended by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, GM President Dan Ammann and United Way President Dr. Herman Gray.  The lit torch symbolizes the hope and dedication of the United Way and serves as tribute to the generosity of those who live in Detroit.
