Zimmermann fashion show

Founded in 1991 by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann, the Australian label features delicate prints, light fabrics and flowing lace. The brand continues to attract sophisticated followers cognizant of quality materials and unique cutting. Due to their fine details, it’s been said that a Zimmermann dress or bikini can be identified with the slightest glance. Shades of Grey produced Zimmermann’s 2016 show at New York Fashion Week. The show was held at ArtBeam, and celebrities such as Hilary Duff, Australian actress Adelaide Kane and Serayah McNeill of Empire were in attendance. The runway formed a perimeter around the guests, enabling models to complete a full lap. To evenly light the space, designer Shawn Kaufman, of CS Lighting, selected SFK fixtures from Acolyte for their spread and color-enhancing ability. To complement the flow of the collection, the light seamlessly shifted from 4100K to solid colors during key transitions. Kaufman also used linear color-changing LED tubes to accent the custom fixtures. Zimmermann stores are located in West Hollywood and San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York City and in the Hamptons.
