Known as the “Treasure House of Stone Carving Art,” the ancient Confucian Temple of Shanghai is an architectural complex built in the late 1300s that features some 28 buildings and a large number of amazing stone carvings. Once the county’s premier educational facility, the refurbished tribute to Confucius now houses a book market. Custom LED fixtures from Acolyte – Anvyl, SFK fixtures and StakeLytes – married modern lighting design with the traditional elements of the Confucian Temple for a stunning effect.
