The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is a five-star luxury hotel with five onsite restaurants, waterfront villas with private pools, a spa suite, dive center, photo studio and more than three dozen overwater quays spread over three islands connected by small bridges. The Kerry Hill Architects project features exquisite use of Acolyte lighting products throughout the stunning property, designed by The Flaming Beacon and supplied through Icon Illumination in Jakarta. Elegant cove lighting provides a cozy ambience in La Locada (the resort “living room”). Graceful toe kick, shelving and undercounter lighting can be found in the quays, under the bar at the Beach Shack restaurant and in sumptuous poolside villas. Custom luminaires feature our Static White and our amber Static Color RibbonLyte products. Textured walls are grazed with louvered Nano Linear fixtures and AS20G channel fixtures in communal areas like the play area and the ring-shaped Ritz-Carlton Spa sanctuary which reigns over a turquoise lagoon.
