Designers chose high-CRI linear lighting from Acolyte to illuminate the stunning Exhibition Halls and Workshops of Rice Barns in Wuzhen, China. The project converted a decades-old abandoned granary into an exhibition space. The lighting design features Atom Linear fixtures and custom Static White RibbonLyte fixtures in AT2 channel. Clean white light lends an air of simplicity and calm while truly rendering the brilliant colors on display. Constant brightness illuminates workspace and exhibits alike, and the lighting dims for energy conservation. The design combines the legacy and esthetics of previous eras and cultures, mixing past and present. It earned an IALD Award of Merit for One Lighting Associates and X Studio at Tsinghua University.
