The Pillars is a 15,000–square-foot retail and community hub on Washington St. in Newark, N.J. Developed by Audible, the experiential center features several local businesses, community spaces and Audible listening booths. The main hall includes a sound-activated light sculpture commissioned by Audible and designed by Studio RRD. The project features PC2 linear fixtures from Acolyte, populated with Pixel RibbonLyte specified through our great partners at SLS Lighting. Sound triggers control the display through C4 Extended SPI controls. Audible’s got what everyone’s listening to – and Acolyte lights it up!
